blwfly 06-04-07 01:56 AM

how much shorter lenght wise is your 1stgen compared to a fd with lets say the same front and rear bumper

lupin 06-04-07 02:19 AM

come on man. It's a 1st gen rx7(in my state that means no emissions ^_^ (pre 83))
With the power of a turboII and the looks of a 3rd gen.

It sounds like a buttload of fun.
I really like how it looks but this project sits next to
The widbody civic hatch with a bmw front end on it that I saw the other day

goodluck on finishing it

When this reaches completion you must post many pics and videos. I will eat my words as I was many of the non-beleivers when you embarked on this project. After seeing the profile shots I must say that it looks amazing. You have serious skills my friend.

nick812 06-08-07 07:50 PM

This project is one of the greatest 1st gen project on this board IMOA.

Vette454 07-10-07 06:39 AM

Awesome work so far , I want to see this thing done!

driftking777 07-10-07 10:33 AM

i personally would say do a staggard setup with your rims, in the PS it kinda looks like both sizes are 17's, however the front seems to fill up the front nicely but the rear seems to small. So maybe a 18/17 combo would look pretty sick (and dont forget to try to get some low offset rims...) Again this IMO.
