Nobody makes them. There was a place called hotwaterlabs that make an FRP piece that could be molded in. It cost $150. There site is down now.

I guess if you took a t2 hood and was capable of cutting it down to size you could make it work

may just be easier to take a t2 hood scoop and mold it onto a stock FB hood

yeah i thought about that but i want one thats ready to buy and install like this one but if i dont find anything then this will be my only option

Is it to feed an intercooler? If so, even if there is a hood with the scoop it would be blind luck if the placement matched where your cooler is. Either way, if you're going to do it you gotta paint anyway, just get the sawzall out and chuck a tii or other scoop on where you want it.
Of course, I dont want to be presumtuous, but if it isnt feeding anything, all you're doing is making it harder for air to go through your radiator, in which case, it might be worth entertaining the idea of a vented hood which could still look cool while actually being functional, by being cool, literally!

If you have a t2 intercooler at the top of the engine you can get a subaru scoop and fab
it into the hood. I've seen that done before, looks good and is functional for a t2 swap into an
FB. Otherwise do your homework on what kind of ducting you need.

I don't know why anyone would do this. A front mount is so much better, especially in an FB where you have a lot of space for one.

I'm running a supercharger. Was looking at mounting one offset above my carb, but it just doesnt look right off to the side

84stock 01-24-17 08:04 PM

How long have you been running the Camden?

I've tried a few options with mine

old_skool 01-24-17 11:18 PM

I've had it a couple years. Sounds awesome. What options did you try?

Otherwise I did a variety of air filters under the hood. A carb hat and cone was a major fail.

This has been the best attention getter of all

Nice mix of muscle and import

Sorry for my german-english and a little greek Jeff!
Better aircooling of the naturally aspirated engine rear, top of the gearbox and RB exhaust. Most rotary fault with rear rotor first depends on waterflow and oilflow direction inside.

Hi again Thomas, just saw the pic of car in introductory thread. Post some more... remember first time i saw it,sinister looking was what first popped in my mind. You've come a long way with that intake manifold since last i saw it.

JSmall 02-03-17 11:55 AM

Wintertime in Black Forest so only cruise around if the sun is shining and no salt on the streets. Old Guy with twelve A since 1984 :)

Looking at details on front airdam, appears there are braces in the center, looks like an adjustable clevis for a splitter?

I completely agree. It's much easier to get your hands on a Subi hood scoop and mold that in than trying to find a good TII hood scoop to be made functional. Plus I hate wasting old rare RX-7 parts.

This is 100% my feeling as well. Easily can fit a FMIC in the car with a turbo setup.

KansasCityREPU 02-04-17 10:25 AM

I want one just because I like the way it looks. I already have the Mariah front bumper just waiting to be put on.
