Tiny vacuum canister thingy broke on my 13B. What is this?

Alright, this part broke on me. I'm still searching around but haven't a clue what it's called. I swear, I remember seeing it in the search results a long time ago. :wallbash: I've also looked over the 13B vacuum diagram, couldn't really tell if it's a delay valve or that's something else, tho.
So, what is this thing and can I just super glue it back together? I have no other means of transportation so I can't just go out and find another part. I wish, tho. Any suggestions? https://www.rx7club.com/attachment.p...1&d=1198777012 EDIT: After searching with the terms "vacuum valve" I came across a thread (recently, this month) where a member had broken his delay valve and it was green and black. From reading that thread, The Doc said to use epoxy to put it back together. I have super glue, would that work? |
Yes, you can super glue it but epoxy seems to work better.
What you can do is go to the parts store and pick up a slightly larger vacuum nipple. Drill out the broken side and epoxy in the vacuum nipple. |
Dang i just threw out a ton of crap that looked just like that! I am sure i had one of those in there and i could have just given it to you, lol

i might have an extra...if i've got one i can mail it to you at no charge if you'd like.

ok, here's what i found in my bin of "rats nest supplies". its not exact but i believe that all you have there is a check valve and what i have is a check valve and i think it would work. its yours if you want it.
