Question Speedometer - Autometer

Hey
I want to make a custom dash for my S2, so far I have all other gauges but the Speedometer.

http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
This is the speedo I want, my question is:
How do I make it work ?
It will require an electronic sensor like this, but will it fit the S4 gearbox that im running ?
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...?part=ATM-5291

TIA
Kim K.

Thanks Trochoid, but the thing is.
I'm in Denmark, I would like it Metric.
Guess I will have to do some measureing of the gearbox outlet thingie when I go see my car again.
Man I hate measureing Inches.

Well, our 7s are metric built, but who knows about the adapter. You might try e-mailing Autometer and ask if that adapter will fit our trannys. That's where I would start.

Hey Kim, I know the speedo you want, but if I have more info on the situation on what you are adapting it to, I can call Summit myself and write down what they say for you. Knowing you are across the pond, it would be long distance. It would be free to me.

12a tranny? 13b? Which trans, etc etc. Let me know and I will let you know too.

Thank You Jeezus
You'll be in my prayers.

The tranny is a N/A unit from the S4 FC.
