Is this the silver widebody you were talking about? The back was modified though.

My car is a S3 not a S1, but if your interested, you can see pics of my smoked out tail lights at the bottom of this thread:

They were made for me by a fellow member of rx7club.

Damn. That silver SA is modded. I want the stock back end with smoked lights.

Oh well. That picture is close enough.

Once I find a nice set of lenses, I will be blacking out the brake and turn signals while leaving the reverse white. I may tinker around with modding them like I do S2 and S3 lights. One of these days Cam I'm going to get that article scanned! LOL

I think that's an FB with SA tails, and bumper.

No its an SA they sold a finish panel for the rear they usually say rx7 on them and what they do is give you the fb look on an sa I know because i have one all he did was paint the upper portion of it to match the car and shaved the hatch key hole.

How do u "smoke" your tail lights I think it looks pretty sweet.

paganizondadude 03-15-09 01:19 PM

It is a transparent black spray. I layed the spray to get them really dark. You can see the light through them just fine.

Yes, you are correct. This car has been discussed a few times, before. I'm in the middle of doing an FB to SA "conversion", right now, following 1SUPER7's lead.

As ricey as I thought it would look I actually like that. Any link to the spray you are using?

BlackWorksInc 03-17-09 12:12 AM

VHT makes a product that does that if I remember...
