Your engine bay looks clean. Is that a seperate oil/premix tank left of the rad running to the omp? if it is how was the install and does it function good?

Phiber Optik 10-22-05 01:15 PM

what size are those brakes? how did you mount them?

Alex-7 10-22-05 01:25 PM

That's fucking niiiice.

I'd say, unless the car is runing/driving, posting pictures would be just as good as a video.

skrewloose78 10-22-05 02:03 PM

very clean install. post some vids of it running.

z-beater 10-22-05 02:18 PM

brandon davis 10-22-05 06:07 PM

Looks saweeet!! The details like the radiator panel bolts arent rusty or dirty theyre all clean and shiney and the polishing is really noice.

brandon davis 10-22-05 06:11 PM

I just watched it again very clean I also like the aluminum shroud replacing the stock plastic one. What kind of info you got on the swap?

perfect7 10-22-05 07:01 PM

Thanks for the comments, I did some of the major stuff like install but Scott and his boys Jose and Lewis at Mazsport did the final rig and wiring. Let me just beat my own drum and say this is how you do a TII conversion.

I know you guys want to see this thing scream and you will in due time, I am at 800 miles of the 1000 required for break-in. Scott gives a warrenty on his motors and I want to due it right. This was alot of cash but well worth it. I highly recomend Scott and Mazsport for work or just parts and advice. He will take time no matter what is going on in his shop for me..

So are you running the stock gsl-se rear end? What brakes are you running up front? Is that a RB 1st gen muffler?

I ask this because I am thinking about putting a S5 TII motor, ECU, Harness, PFC-F-Con, TO4, anf front mount into a 79 SA.
Thanks and I can only hope my engine bay looks that clean.

Yes the rear is stock, I may go to the strip once or twice so I am not that worried. The brakes are slotted, drilled, and zinc coated. The exhaust is a 2nd gen RB down pipe into a Borla mid and a Borla dual outlet all 3in. It has a nice deep throaty sound.
