RX-7 Values

I'm posting this in hopes that through some feedback, we might be able to add a resource to the classifieds as it relates to the value of our cars. The idea would be that each time an RX listed in the classified sells - if the buyer wishes - the Subject line is changed to SOLD with the value, i.e. SOLD 3500. Considering most RX's are going up in value, many with mods - it would be nice to look at the listing's pics, a car's equipment/condition, and a selling price to find a comparable to help determine a value when buy or selling these cars. Just an idea...

Does anyone want to take ownership of a Google doc/spreadsheet to track this? Otherwise I can create one.

I would also extend this to those members that have purchased RX7s to expand the scope of data points. For my own recently purchased 7...

There is a danger in this list. If we as owners are trying to establish market value for insurance claims or "investment" purposes having barely running examples like my '79 that was purchased for (redacted) does little to promote the cause. The same holds true if bottom dollar bargains are being posted it will make the exceptional examples devalued as there is no real standard of condition of car, mileage, mods, originality, restoration and the quality of said restoration. I feel that resources like BaT or eBay does a fine example of establishing market value on RX-7s of quality. The craigslist missing title " I got this through a guy at work" mess needs to be left in the shadows.
