Running ruff

I changed the clutch with my son on his 85 Rx7.
The motor ran great when we started, and now the starting is very bad, the car smokes for quite a while and smeels very rich with the choke out and warming up also the motor misses severly.
after its warm the car can't be driven as the sputtering motor dies constantly.
i can't see any wires or vacuum lines at the carb that have been knocked loose. are there any going to the tranmission or starter that if in the wong palce or missed wired could do this.

Check that your ignition sys is functioning. You may be running on the trailing system only. Use a timing light to see if all 4 plugs are firing. Oh and welcome to the board. :) We got members here from Spokane FYI.

All four are firing, the spark is a little orange
Is there anyone in the spokane area that can work on these?
