Question problems

i am having some problems with my 84 rx7. it sat for about 3 days when i was on vacation. when i went out to go to the store, it wouldn't start. i am getting sparks from the plugs, but when i took them out they were completely covered in oil. i took all 4 out, and tried to start the engine and oil dripped out of the holes. i think the oil seal or ring is done, but i wanted to check with people that have a clue before i go taking the engine apart.

Try to follow the directions on deflooding I bet dollars to donuts that its flooded. Or the seals carbon locked to the rotor. there are directions in the FAQ for that as well.

Yeah, probably just flooded. Dump a couple of caps full of motor oil down the carb and try again. Or better yet, grab a can of Seafoam and put about one ounce into the primary (small) barrels and she should take right off, but don't worry about all the smoke you will see after you do this (neighbors might call the fire dept. though lol)...
