A little too Trans-Am style for me. But it's still sweet as hell!

I'll get a pic of mine ASAP.

vipernicus42 05-08-03 09:32 PM

I love this one because it's literally untouched beauty...

Stock engine that has never been cleaned looking this beautiful? you'd think it had never seen even rain... This is Manntis' Pamela, and has my vote because I've always been kinda fond of near-stock, and she's a beauty. Find the full pic set at www.rotorhead.ca

yeah it does fit perfect in there. When I bought the car 6years ago it came with the car. They should be easy to make though. As for the overflow, I was working on it when I took the pic. I'm installing a custom made chrome one.

No, it was a GSL-SE turbo with a Dellorto sidedraft. But who knows... maybe the current owner swapped a 302 in it, though last I heard the car was in Ft. Lauderdale and the owner completely rebuilt the whole car and put a nice ported NA 13B (he bought it engineless). The suspension is a stock SE with redrilled hubs & discs and TII lugs.

The second exhaust was installed by a muffler shop who simply tapped into the existing exhaust and made some new hangers. The rear skirt already came with dual cutouts.

Someone asked about the spoilers: I know Kaminari made at least the side skirts and maybe the front but they've been discontinued. Someone in PR is making copies of those spoilers and they seem so show up in a lot of FBs and FCs in the Orlando area. There's a member here with a bluish-grey FB in his sig with the same front spoiler; maybe he knows?

Cody 05-12-03 04:44 PM

The dual exhaust is pretty simple. It looks pretty stock until after the rear muffler. On mine, the muffler exits with 2 outlets. One goes straight out into the passenger side exhaust tip, and the other goes off to the driver's side.....in a straight pipe hidden in the rear fascia, to the driver's side tip.

Essentially, it's functional, as both exhaust tips flow, but its not true dual exhaust.

If it's setup as you describe, the pipe on the driver's side is flowing next to nothing. Put your hand close to the exhaust while it's running, you won't feel any pressure.

You guys love your bodykits don't you!

Here's mine...it'll look better once its lowered. Except the bonnet and front bar, that is the original paint.
