Pipes leading into automatic transmission

Hey guys, The 7's sprung another minor leak.. except it's in a very odd region, the metal pipe that plugs into my auto trans underneath. The fluid drips ( and sprays apparently,, there's gunk all around it) from where it bolts in.. and I can't seem to find a gasket - if there is one- online. any ideas?

Check out the 1979-1980 parts manual on foxed.ca. It looks like all of those fluid filled connections have bango bolts.

Turns out it's not a pipe but the speedometer gear.. now to find a replacement since it leaks lightly from that spot and I have no idea if the O ring on Atkins rotary works.

Dumb question but would anyone know where I could get the speedo gears o ring from? Atkins has one but I have no idea if it's the o ring that goes around the assembly that's pictured here ( from a old 2006 thread) of the speedometer gear assembly..

This little leak is driving me nuts.. its staining the driveway with little specks of red ATF. It literally only drips ONE drop, but it's enough to leave a nickel-sized stain every time.
Edit: looked at the FSM, both parts are used, I'm just going to swap the outer o ring first since that's where it appears to be leaking from, if it was the internal one it would be dripping from the middle. 4bucks for a rubber band is kind of pricy but it beats scrubbing the driveway every week.

Also remember this is not just a normal seal. It's one made to be exposed to ATF which would swell normal rubber.

Years ago I bought a O ring replacement kit from HF. It has all sizes in it from 1/4 to near 2" and I have used them to replace speedo seals on many vehicles, without a problem. For what it costs it is worth a try. It comes in a maroon box about 6" X 10" X 2" high

I saw that yesterday ! Im going to pick one up , they have one with seals made of a compound thats not rubber . My trans no longer leaks in the driveway after I re tightened the pan but it does indeed leak from that area and every week I have to add like a tenth of a quart of fluid . Stupid design tbh .

1011-17-443 is the O ring that seals the speedo thing to the trans. the seal inside is 9958-60-8166, if that one goes bad the oil goes up the speedo cable and drips on you!
