those are still fuseable links those aren't fuses. But those are much more available.

More available and easily inspected.

search for 'block type' fuses, they fit right into the stock location and are available at all auto parts stores. no wiring or anything involved, just plug em in and lose the fusible links, huzza!

That's what I did to mine, just remember to get the ones with the long legs or else you'll have to dremel a bit into the plastic to make them stay it. This is how they looks like:

Or grab a 2nd gen fuse block. It's easy as hell to wire in, uses the same "block type" fuses, and gives you three more spots for other accessories you might want to fuse such as an e-fan, sound, or alarm system.

i replaced my fuseable links 'bout a week ago w/ stereo fuse block, cost me like $10. the best part is that i could use a 4 ga wire for the power supply. I doubt its neccesary, but it kinda goes w/ the coincidental "red theme'' on that side of the engine bay(optima,3 blaster coils & plug wires)

urg, i knew of all the other types of fuse blocks and such, this was just my decision. I couldnt find any others, if you would have read the thread link it noted how i chose this one, didnt just throw it in there.

That looks pretty good.

But there's nothing as clean as John's (John64) FC fuse boxes, and the custom stickers. BTW if they're ever missing you know who has them!

Nector, why you on my jock???

Nice attention to detail with the stickers. ^

+1 Same here, I just dropped in the three replacements for my old fusible links and I was done. Now new receptacle or wiring needed.

I'll post pics of my fb3 fuse box installed in the bay once I get it in. I gotta add some fuses for the bigger s5 alternator I installed.
