Paint discoloration/oxidation?
When I bought the car, there was this spot on the header panel that looks really odd. Anybody else have this happen?

Either that or the same kinda oxidization my car has on the back of it...If you scratch it off with your fingernail (GENTLY!!) is there paint under it? There is on my car, but i havent looked into getting it off yet...

i agree with andrew, looks like bondo. take the panel off and you should be able to really tell.

hmmm... I just finished doing A LOT of this on my truck, so I'd have to go with the common concensus (besides RotorMotorDriver), adn say it's bondo that's been somewhat sanded down...
