Original color ?
hey guys, i was thinking about the fate of my gold 81. I am starting to grow on the original color of the car. I was going to paint it a darker version of the factory color or that bronzish orange that you see on 79s ... but the fact that the paint is ... starting to look better each time i look at it . eh ...
too bad it wasnt red or something lol . what do you guys think ? http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k1...s/DSCF2082.jpg http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k1...s/DSCF1948.jpg because the car was repainted b4 i got it i didnt really get to soak up the original color . |
I like it, but red is better :)
|

Well, the gold colour kind of grows on you, doesn´t it?!?
As far as I can see, there´s not many gold RX-7 around nowadays, but it´s actually a great colour once you get used to it. ;) I hesitated at first, but after seeing a couple of really nice gold ones here on the forum I was convinced that I should stick with the original colour on my car!! Just check out "slo78u" and his car in the thread below and you´ll know what I mean. https://www.rx7club.com/1st-gen-general-discussion-207/%2A%2A-post-pictures-your-1st-gens-pics-only%2A%2A-596488/page10/ Good luck and please post some pictures of the end result! /Fredrik |
