OMG its messed up again electrical this time.
Ok i went out and was gonna start the fb to shoot a vid with the new parts on it. I havnt touched anything electrical on the car and it started two weeks before with no trouble at all and everything worked. This time I hop in make sure the battery is up and turn the key. Nothing no power at all no dash lights or anything. I changed the fusable links to fuses and still nothing. Done all kinds of checks and still nothing. The only thing I couldnt check was the power wire going from the battery to the starter. If this was lose would it cause everything not to work.

check that starter wire.

two weeks without starting ..could be that the battery drained out..did you try a boost yet,or charging the battery?..check post connections?..try flippin your lights up to see if you have power..
|
yes the battery was up full charge. I checked, have a little faith im not a total idiot.lol Im not getting power to anything at all thats my problem. nothing is getting power anywhere at all nothing is even getting to the main fuse block under the hood. would a loose conection the the starter cause this.

Well. from what you said it could only be 2 things. If theres no power going to the main fuse either the main fuse is blown or the wire lead going to the main fuse block isn't connected. Get an volt meter anc check it out. And if theres power at the main wire goin g to the block and the fuse isn't blown you have a broken fuse block. (highlly unlikely)
A loose starter wire wouldn't effect your dash lights etc... Good luck! |
Have you checked your connections to the battery, I've fallen for that one....
|
is the power wire or ground wire loose or corroded? you can have a full batt. and nothing work caz of a bad connection.......
