Okay, removed the air pump, and installed the acv blockoff plate....
Now what? Anything else I need to do? Oh, I also intalled the dual belt pulley and another belt.....

I hope it is because you are installing headers.
Otherwise, goodbye cats, nice knowing ya. |
is the dual pully necessary? i took mine off because i got a header. i havent noticed any problems, and my dad said it should be ok because theres enough tension on the belt. is this true? should i get a dual pully?

I've run a single belt on my rotaries for years, the only problem is you have to keep them tight. The only belts I've found that don't stretch and need to be re-tensioned are made by Gates. The underdrive main pulley is a better investment. It helps the belt make better contact with the water pump pulley, too.

blort!
Now what? Dual belt is not absolutely required - but it doesn't hurt. |
