I hope it is because you are installing headers.

Otherwise, goodbye cats, nice knowing ya.

is the dual pully necessary? i took mine off because i got a header. i havent noticed any problems, and my dad said it should be ok because theres enough tension on the belt. is this true? should i get a dual pully?

I've run a single belt on my rotaries for years, the only problem is you have to keep them tight. The only belts I've found that don't stretch and need to be re-tensioned are made by Gates. The underdrive main pulley is a better investment. It helps the belt make better contact with the water pump pulley, too.

blort!

Now what?
Give me the keys. Remove the rats nest. Ditch the AC. Electric fan. Give me the keys. Buy a header. Install a LSD rear. Give me the keys.

Dual belt is not absolutely required - but it doesn't hurt.
