Gregs 01-06-04 07:25 PM

then post em dankus! :D

hornbm 01-06-04 07:41 PM

dankus ur busted! Only one belt going on that water pump... and you have the dual belt alternator pulley! Come on dude, dont skimp out on a 8 dollar belt!

Hey BTW your grammer is getting ALOT better. keep it up man.

rotarydankus again 01-06-04 07:54 PM

fyi that is a tracter supply belt , 2.99! was only running one belt to begin with.a
also a warm eng will only go about 4 blocks with no water pump belt, before the gauge goes scary, cold engine will go miles, i drove it 5miles to shop cold.
as for grammer i doubt the grammerHYDE will be gone for long

Stoops417 01-06-04 07:54 PM

what is that piece that is on top of your carb?

Pedestrian X 01-06-04 08:12 PM

He just said exactly what it was.

Gregs 01-06-04 08:24 PM

some people, huh ped?:p:

mar3 01-06-04 08:44 PM

Hmmmm, that cap is way too small and a serious flow impediment unless it's boosted...crazy looking little beast it is...

timmya2 01-06-04 09:38 PM

would you call that rice?

since all that yellow doesnt give performance..

"yellow added an extra 5 HP"

same as "my honda wing and stinkers added an extra 30hp"

MosesX605 01-06-04 09:47 PM

Why would that cap be a restriction? It's the same size as the carb's intake...Granted, the shape probably isn't ideal but it's a neat way to get some colder air to the engine.

yes, he said it was a powersteering pump resivoir from a ford... i realise that... yet i was hoping for something a little more specific... perhaps a year/model?

Rotofire 01-06-04 11:00 PM

YEA TIMMY ITS NOT RICE, outa 3 or 4 thousand people who have seen her your the only one to mention or implicate ricedness, i resent that, lol j/k my skins much thicker now , wait to you see whats coming next, BTW, the intake has been checked for restriction at the bonnet, 1.5 ''hg vs 2.8-3'' for stock, removing the filter eliminates the restriction , which leads me to believe i need a better flowing filter, also last week we had a 70 dg day here in kansas, so i took TOTO for a ride in the seven with thermoucoupler in the intake track 6'' from carb and guess what 45deg ! a twenty five degree drop at 35 mph, this morning it was minus 2, the intake air was -16 at idle, and off the scale at -30 + , any time i hit the gas or was moving, i think it works, check out what im brewing up now in the boost post

rotarydankus again 01-07-04 01:35 AM

ps the resiover is on just about every ford built from 1980 on , all of them!

Metallic_rock 01-07-04 09:05 AM

I like it!! And I see absolutely nothing wrong with color coordinating your engine bay. I picked blue, myself, but each to their own!! Is your whole car yellow??

Hey, what's that alternator off of ??

ray green 01-07-04 11:49 AM

Looks like a buick alternator to me.

slashdawg00110 01-07-04 12:37 PM

very nice, dankus. I always look forward to seeing what you've attempted.

Doesn't look ricey at all to me. Looks cool. Too bad the color doesn't match the battery.

Rx7carl 01-07-04 12:41 PM

1.5 ''hg
Can you give more detail on this? Was this at WOT? I'm assuming so. Its still quite high.
