Need: Two J109 Ignitors or diagrams for a suitable alternative.
Anyone got some lying around? Need em to get the engine running again.

Suitable alternative? Ever tried the GM HEI ignitors which can be found in any any auto parts store? They accomplish the same thing in a different way. The wire hookups are similar.
I've never actually done one before, but they are a viable alternative to the increasingly rare J-190 (I think). I need to get one and try it out to be sure. Or you could be the guinea pig. |

I think a '79 Buick 'something' had them stock. I don't know which years and models they were available off the top of my head. Somebody else ought to know.
