I haven't opened my Mikuni up yet so I'm asking you guys what type of jets are in these carbs?

Any pics available?

As far as I know they are Mikuni specific. There are several different types too.

I have a handful of Mikuni jets sitting here, not sure of the sizes but I can find out.

Mods, this should be archived.......

trochoid 04-07-06 10:28 PM

If I could copy and load the manual, I would, but the file size is too big for each page. I may try and copy into Adobe and see how big it is. If I can't load it up here, I might be able to e-mail copies out.

yes, i did. havent heard from im yet though.

why are the velocity stacks always cut up on these carbs? i dont like it.

camocarl 04-07-06 11:10 PM

The jets are at the shop, I may be over there tomorrow.

trochoid 04-07-06 11:10 PM

To fit inside of most of the air cleaners. The carb in the pic has them on backwards. If the air cleaners were wider, there is no need to trim the stacks, but it would require relocating the alternator.
