long front wheel studs?
 

is there anywhere that sells easy to install long front wheel studs that fit 84-85 se's? or is there perhaps another stock stud from another manufacturer that might work in it's place that's a bit longer, at most im lookin for is about half an inch thnx

I bought mine from a local performance shop. They were like 5 bucks for a set of 4.

If you are looking for longer lug bolts the 78-80 had longer bolts for the wheels I have a set of bolts and wheels.

Pineapple Racing sells a few different lengths.

Well, having gone through this search myself, i'll give you the shortcut. Get some ARP studs for the 4th Gen Camaro, they will fit perfect and are definitely longer...part nos:

I went with 7708 (2.5" length) I'm pretty sure. But they do press into the hubs without issue.:titty: :titty: :icon_tup:

The 2.5-in stud is the right call. You can also get Moser 2.5s from Summit Racing. I've got some thick-flange wheels that didn't allow the studs to stick through so I could start the nuts before getting them in the bores - the Mosers are perfect.

BTW, you don't even have to remove the hubs or rotors, just remove the caliper, turn each stud to the caliper's location, and bang it with a sledge. Pull the new one in with an open lug nut, and it's a super-easy job.

the ones that i bought had both ends threaded. So all you do is put some thread lock in the one end that goes on the rotors. You put them in with an Allen Key. Also i just bought open ended nuts.

Yeah, but the SE takes knurled studs rather than lug bolts. It's fundamentally different than the way the 12A cars did it.

I went this route for my SE suspension so I could use spacers for the 16's, worked great and I used the 2.5" available anywhere if you know your thread pitch and diameter as listed above
