lights out

ok i was driving home tonight and my lights would flicker. Like they would turn off completly and then come back on. They would only go off for a split second, this happened twice. What could this be? It's happened once before. Thanks
Dom

Oh volts are fine, steady at 13.8 with the lights on. no shudders in the volts or anything. all interior lights stayed on just the headlights

I think it could also be a fusible link. I know of two grounds, they are both by the supports for the headlight retractor motors, on the side of the car.

did you check the fusable links yet?

convert to a 2nd gen box, that's what i'm doing this weekend cuz my stupid retractors don't always work due to a crappy fusable link that is very very thin.

The light switch on the stalk is notorious for going bad. Instructions for removal/cleaning/replacing are available with a search. Good luck (I need to do this to)..

Mine did that and it was a grounding issue.
