Interior

Does anyone have a "spare" black interior parts for a '83 or similar? I'm trying to replace my burgundy interior. Or where I can find some? I've already looked in the local junk yards and by the time I get there the 7's are already gutted.

The burgundy fades and starts gettin a nasty brown/greenish.

I'd also like to swap my burgundy over for a black or grey as I'm gonna strip the entire car down for painting/body work. (Engine, interior, glass, trim, etc.)

Check e-bay. theres constantly a vendor that sells carpet sets there for like 179.something. Get the dash off someone whos building a racer. Ditto on the door panels. Seats, sumggle outta a 2nd gen (They're supposed to be better and they bolt right up.)

My front half is in rather good shape. The standard rip in teh driver's seat, but everything else in front of the storage boxes is pretty good. Few dents here and there, but nothing really bad.

In the hatch and the lids of the storage compartment, where the sun hit. (Front windows were tinted :p ) The carpet is nasty brownish green and it's shedding. I have little brown green fibers all over whatever I have pulled out of the hatch.

LOL crap, I post this thing and leave it alone for a day and there are 7 posts.

I don't like the burgundy and would be will to trade off the good parts to anyone who need them. Don't even think about asking about the door panels they are crappy. I've already replaced the carpet with black, I just need to replace everything else. Black is preferred I can work with grey.

How are the plastic pieces in your hatch area? Mine are quite Oxidized. I also need the transition piece for the carpet that rests right over the storage boxes.

For Sale?

I know the part around the lock of the hatch is pretty bad. I would have to look at the rest to give a you a better answer. I'm currently at work so I don't have the peices in fornt of me. I do know that I will not be giving up the metal transition piece because it is already black and looks great. Sorry.

~shrugs~ I guess I could sell them, but that wouldn't get me any closer on getting the black peices, but then again, that does mean I have a little extra money. LOL

I think I'll have to try that. I didn't realize that they would fit. I thought they had a different bolt patter.
