Gain 60 HP and add 200 lbs to the passenger side of your rex? I like Mike's Cosmo idea better. At least the intake is centered and runs the tubes on both sides to better balance the added weight...

I wonder how all that would work if you used Optima red tops instead of conventional lead acid batteries...oops, we're getting off subject again...;) look, just get the damn Zex system for Hondas if you got the injected 13B. My buddy's Prelude with the 55 shot dry system took 3 hrs to put in and is completely safe. He leaves the bottle open all the time and arms it from the cabin when he feels like smokin' some domestics or FDs. It took 3 hours to install because we had to build a new MDF plate in the back to reposition his amp because I insisted on a North/South bottle position if I was going to do the work. It's been a couple of months since then, he's filled the bottle at least three times and the engine shows no signs of being hurt. It's V-Tec, so it's still strong NA and not smoking in the slightest. The engine had 55,000 miles and it's a '94...I think they have a system specifically for rotaries, but don't quote me because it's probably for the FD. He's running low 14's with a guesstimated 280 HP at the flywheel pushing 3365 lbs. race weight. With 2600 lbs. and 150 HP at the wheels (which is about 165 at the wheel for a stick tranny), the 55 shot would put you in the mid 13s with nothing else at all. Everything else that can duplicate that achievement will cost at least twice as much...

drop in a TurboII motor and you should be there. No A/C, no Power Steering, none of that jazz.. you'll be around 2300 or 2400 lbs and with 200 hp (stock) put a racing beat full exhaust on it and you're all good.

And then he has no A/C, no power steering and had to ditch all of his sound equipment to reach the lower weights aannnndddd spent 4X as much as he would have on the Zex to reach the same times...
