You can't get this kit because it's a custom job. It's a one of a kind. The only way you can get close it, is by going to a local body shop and see if they can make one similiar. Get ready to pay some money for the work too.

:bash: Make it stop, Make it stop!

Manntis 12-11-02 08:18 PM

At the risk of "flame on" I have to say I like how the header panel cut line and the new fender/bumper cut lines line up... makes the car look way modern.

Pretty much everything else about that car diminishes the effect, but that one cutline is well planned...

ACTION RT 12-11-02 09:25 PM

Ive seen that kit before..

Not on that car though,

Its a body kit that A-Spec here in Etobicoke, Canada carries.

I talked to Steve the owner a while back, he said there was like 2 cars including the one in their shop that was getting fitted with the kit.
Anyways he said they had a few more kits in the back room.. I think he said it was an 8-12 piece kit..

give Steve a call at 416-246-9949

Wow no way, how much would the kit cost??? Is that number a state number or Canadian?

I think the car looks pretty good, all accept for the shoping cart wing, but I sure as hell wouldent do it to my car!!
You're joking right? Shoping cart wing? Are you looking at the same picture as I am? I think that spoiler looks great on that car w/ that kit but then again, beauty is in the eye of the beholder...except you might need glasses

:p:.

Chemical 12-12-02 03:21 PM

Nope, thats definitly one ugly-ass wing

https://www.rx7club.com/forum/attach...postid=1297788

nosajwrx-7 12-12-02 03:23 PM

I think it should be chopped down like 6 inches or so.

Jaye 12-12-02 07:07 PM

The wing should be eliminated, imo, or changed to more of a flip. That picture comes up because it is, by far, the best looking modified 1st gen body that exists on planet earth. Makes all the Mariah kits look cheap in comparison...which is probably actually true...the cost differential, that is.

hornbm 12-12-02 07:11 PM

hmmm well I've never seen anything that I like better than a mariah mode 1

timmya2 12-12-02 07:21 PM

WOW i like that yellow color..

wat type of yellow is that?

hornbm 12-12-02 07:24 PM

what yellow are you talking about?

timmya2 12-12-02 07:31 PM

the yellow rx7 posted by mantis

jeremy 12-12-02 08:33 PM

hey isn't that the apc bodykit???????????

relabel it as the porschesupra7

82transam 12-12-02 08:57 PM

While its true that making that a kit would probably make me as rich as bill gates, I wouldn't wanna be the one responsible for ruining a bunch of otherwise perfectly fine FB's. sheesh, just kill it please, or erase my memory, that thing keeps me awake at night.

Keaponlaffen 12-12-02 09:13 PM

:( I didn't even have to open it to know the doom that would come about from opening this thread... I knew that I'd see the plum-colored POS-7...

i find it pretty funny how you guys constantly said it was a custom job but then along comes along Action RT and says its a kit. Thats pretty funny in my opinion.BTW this is one of the main reasons i joined the club. But i also wanted to find out more on my car. Its the newbie thread.hehe. LAter

It's not a kit. It has genuine Porsche bodyparts on it.
If somebody made a mold off that car, it would be a knock-off of that car, - still not a kit.

If it is a kit, please feel free to prove us wrong, as I personally like the front end.

The rest...Eh.. But at least it's a Turbo GSL-SE.

I feel exactly the same way Manntis. Also I like how the flares are just wheel flares, not humongus fenders on steroids. Keeps the cars classic lines intact. :D

That's why I got a red one :D
I think it really depends on what yellow... The car of Hitman (not20b) is just great, imo.

Rotortuner 12-13-02 01:35 PM

Hey guys- I have a question really quick, im sure others have asked already, But the 1st gen that was at Sevenstock this past year. The right drive 24 daytona car. is that a custom kit? Or can that be aquired some where?

CJG

Manntis 12-13-02 01:42 PM

if it's custom, it's not a kit :)

but if it's a Daytona car, odds are Mazdaspeed or someone offers a lookalike bodykit

rotary emotions 12-13-02 01:50 PM

The daytona-car was the original from back in the good old days, if I'm right... But as far as I know Selectmaz has a bodykit that's very simular. (I think)

Ben dopp 12-20-02 05:14 PM

This kit comes from design energy in california. there web site is www.mariahmotorsports.com they have darn near anything you may need for your 7

hornbm 12-20-02 05:23 PM

*sigh*... n00bs!

The plum car's body kit is CUSTOM!!!

the site that you just listed sells... the mariah mode 1!!! Suprise!!!!

Can't this thred be deleted/locked/banned/destroyed???
