Get ready for the wildest ride that youve ever had without your rex.

Me and my wife became parents about 1.3 years ago. If you got any questions, Id be happy to help :)

Congrats man!!! Good luck. No kids of my own yet, but once me and the fiancee are married we will be looking into the possibility of bringing a couple motor heads into the world:)

congradulations, and i respect that your happy, but i really am scared of the idea of kids, i dont think i could handle it. so i really respect you for it. of course im only 18 now, so maybe the idea will appeal to me late on.

rolfs_7 09-16-06 12:00 AM

Naegleria_Fowleri 09-16-06 01:29 AM

Congrats man. I'm really happy for you.

rotornoob 09-16-06 01:35 AM

congratulations man. Get used to sleeples nights, migraines and a whole lot of fun. oh yeah...my dad said that when i used to cry all night long he would take me out driving in his saab and it used to put me to sleep so maybe you can get away with that in your rex :)

MattG 09-16-06 02:28 AM

Thats awesome!!!

twinkletoes 09-16-06 03:20 AM

Congrats and good luck in the future with your son/daughter.

-xlr8planet- 09-16-06 09:17 AM

Thanks for everything guys! The kid will be a rotorhead for sure.

I know its OT, but the 1st gen forum is my "home" and I wanted my fellow 1st gen owners to know.

Im 29, and trust me perfect circle, when I was 18 I was also afraid of having a kid or getting someone pregnant. Is perfectly normal.

Lets hope "the wife" does not make me sell the 7 to get a 4 door car :D I will resist! I can always store the 7 till the kid is 18

OnlyOnThurs 09-16-06 09:55 AM

AWESOME!! Congrats!! Teach the little guy/girl the ways of the roatry. Con Dios por de lante!

openshot 09-16-06 10:21 AM

congrats soon you will be a father. I love kids.

redfb 09-16-06 10:49 AM

congrats , kids are one of the top two best things in the world to have. The other well you make up your mind on that one. Kids are really fun to have around once they get out of the zombie baby mode.

Tranquil 09-16-06 10:54 AM

That's really awesome! Awesome to the MAX!

My only real motivation for getting out and getting my education and a good job is because I want to have a family someday.

redfb 09-16-06 10:57 AM

^^exactly something i said i would never do or even think of doing so i slacked off when i was younger, to worried about cars and nothing else, now i am playing catch up

Tranquil 09-16-06 11:04 AM

Well, its something I only just realized. I'm glad it wasn't too late for me to stop slacking off.

That's the more realistic of my motivations. Becoming a legend and leaving a legacy is another one. At least I can achieve the legacy part through offspring.

Rogue_Wulff 09-16-06 01:35 PM

Congrats man. Your life will never be the same, but you won't mind one bit.
I have 2 kids myself, a daughter that is now married, and a 14 year old son. They have both been plotting ways to get my car........

Dirty Dog 09-16-06 01:49 PM

I have 2 9 boy 7 girl. Greatest thimg in the world. Don't let anybody tell you what to do. Do what's best for your kids, cuz there is no owners manual like there is for your 7.

Best of luck and just remember to take all the time possible with your child. Make everything a learning experience for him/her... Encourage any and all questions and curiousities by always doing your best to explain everything. If you cannot explain it straight away include them in the search for the answer.

But again most importantly give all the love you have to the whole family do not neglect your relationship and remind your wife of the same.
