GSL-SE Manual Steering (Temporarily)
 

Hi All,

My power steering pump has started to whine fairly loud and I want to eventually fix it. In the meantime, what are the steps to covert things to manual without having to remove everything?

Based on the other threads that I have read, you have to loop the lines and make sure to have fluid in the system. Since my pump doesn't leak, can I just remove the belt and keep driving?

Just want to make sure I am not missing anything.

i have read that before, but can't confirm this is an appropriate procedure. anyone else?

Pretty sure thats how its done. Looping the lines keeps fluid in the box and also keeps out dirt and water.

Looks to be right, loop the lines and don't leave any open ends.

Does anyone have any pictures of what they did to loop the lines?
