Hi guys

Im not exactly sure on how you do that...

Any input would be great.

remove it and put two washers underneath the spring.

between the piston and the spring?

Or between the spring and housing. Either way, it preloads the spring.

On second thought, put it in the middle.

:)

If you put a shim between the oil regulator and the housing, you also have to modify the back one by putting it on a 2 ton press and pressing it down.Factory pressure is 60. After modifying you should get at least 80.

using a vice semi works as well, as does using a third gen regulator.

What is this business of a press? I put 3 washers in the rear regulator when I rebuilt my S5 N/A. To put it back together I just pushed the piston down with a screwdriver before I pushed the new roll pin in.

Disregard my last answer, you should put a shim between the piston & the regulator.
