Free FB Cover

Anyone want a free Covercraft HD cover for an FB? Stitching split, and they sent me a new one under warranty. I would like to keep the old one out of landfill so giving it away for free. It is very repairable… and new ones run a whopping $600! Pick up in Mill Valley, Marin County CA or I cap and you can Zelle / Venmo me the cost.

If you attend the Rotary Meets they have in the bay area once a month - I'll be happy to grab it from you there in person. I can give you a new pair of coils (beck Arnley) that rock auto double shipped to me.

Sorry. Toruki got there first.

And just out of curiosity, which monthly meets? I know of one down in the Union City / Freemint area and have been a couple of times… stopped going as just too darned far from Marin and East Bay driving terrifies me.

All good, no worries. Yes, that is the one I am talking about. I agree, it ends up being a bit of drive as I am an hour plus away.

What brand was the car cover or which one would you recommend in your experience? I have the factory OEM for my Rx8 and am super happy how it fits like a glove. I would want the same fit for my Rx7 so was asking for your input and experience before I buy one.
-Thank you in advance

It was a Covercraft HD. Freakin' crazy expensive, i think they are $600 new nowadays. Fit was good on my FB. Stitching did fail at one seam after maybe three years, but cover has six year warranty and they replaced it no problem. I would buy it again. Pro trick I learned from neighbor was to tie it down by passing the straps under front and rear fenders rather than at the center tie down points. That way you dont have to thread the tie down strap under the car and fish it out from the other side in the rain! There are tarp clips available on Amazon, and I combined them with a ratchet straps as bungee cords stretched if I covered the car when engine and tailpipe was hot.
