Ford REar End 8.8 Panhard Bar.
Ford REar End 8.8 Panhard Bar.
I'm just finishing up my 8.8 ford mustand rear end conversion in my SA Turbo II project and it's looking pretty sweeeeeeet. Just wondering if anyone else that's done this conversion would show us some flicks of theirs, of course i'm going to show mine as well i'm just trying to find out what a good pandhard bar set up looks like either with the stock gas tank or fuel cell, I"m looking for a good panhard bar that I could use without doing a fuel cell or any kind of extra $$ bs, but of course if it means getting this buster up and running than i'm just going to have to fork the cash, you know!
Now before you say go look, and search. I've done that. I've seen some flicks of g-force tri link and some others, but they've all been race cars in prep and never had a gas tank or complete yet.
Anyone Got a Flick.

get an 8.8/ 9" (12 would be great) rear end disk to disk /// not drum to drum , i guess it doesn't matter if you going to be getting aftermarket rotors and calipers and such but, take it to a shop have them narrow it and re-bracket it up. Put your axels, possie and gears shimmed and do the damn thing.
the 8.8 is a direct fit ..you dont have to narrow it ...all you have to do is get a rear end from a turbo coupe and take the axles out of it and put drum brake 4 lugs axles from a 4 cyl mustang and redrill the lug pattern to a honda lug pattern so you can fit after marcket wheels that will fit a honda so the wheel stick inside the fender...
Looks like Whiteline's adjustable, but the endlinks are too nice and fully tunable. Make sure you disconnect a side, sit in the car, and have a buddy reconnect so you have zero preload on that bar.
Because of the way it fits OE end link mount I would guess that it is an aftermarket adjustable sway bar that was built for an FB. The axle brackets were fabricated and welded to the 8.8 rear end
