FMOC replacement help

Gentlemen,
Yesterday I drove to orlando,,, 4 hours to get a replacement oil cooler for my se, The only oil cooler available at the time was from a second gen,,,, I got the oil cooler and the lines, everything except the banjo bolts to the engine,,, I had no luck removing the short oil line from my car, Being the genius I thought I was I went to lowes and bought a connector. Basically I cut the line and joined the old lines to the new ones that came with the oil cooler ,,,,,,:wallbash: BAD IDEA five minutes up the road ,lost all the oil , actually I was 3 houses down. So I need some advice on removing the short line, do I have to remove the fan and tha belt thats in the way to properly position the wrench...Are there any secrets that you can give me to make this easier obviosly I need new lines.. will the second gen lines work as a direct bolt ons, if I have the lines and the banjo bolts ( I HOPE THATS WHAT THERE CALLED) Help me guys also I know the smaller fitting is a 21 mm what size is the other.. ANy and all help is appreciated.
Thanks ahead

According to this you should be fine on the engine fittings. 16mm on front and 18mm on the rear iron.

To remove the oil tube from the front cover, you need 2 wrenches. One to hold the adapter, the other to break the flare nut loose. P B Blaster will help.
