Basically I cut the line and joined the old lines to the new ones that came with the oil cooler ,,,,,,:wallbash: BAD IDEA five minutes up the road ,lost all the oil , actually I was 3 houses down. So I need some advice on removing the short line, do I have to remove the fan and tha belt thats in the way to properly position the wrench...Are there any secrets that you can give me to make this easier obviosly I need new lines.. will the second gen lines work as a direct bolt ons, if I have the lines and the banjo bolts ( I HOPE THATS WHAT THERE CALLED) Help me guys also I know the smaller fitting is a 21 mm what size is the other.. According to this you should be fine on the engine fittings. 16mm on front and 18mm on the rear iron. |
To remove the oil tube from the front cover, you need 2 wrenches. One to hold the adapter, the other to break the flare nut loose. P B Blaster will help.
