flooding from fuel regulator?
 

my 7 keeps flooding. tryed adeflooding methods endlessly with no luck. i have a hard time believing it is stuck injectors cuz it happens to all the plugs at once. also is almost instantly. the problem came on all at once. good compression also. does anyone think it could be the fuel pressure regulator? i think that is what it is called. it opens to return fuel to the tank i believe. i pulled the fuel line and it was under a huge amount of pressure. pulled the return line and cranked it and nothing even seeped out. any help and where to get the reg. is appreciated.:wallbash: 85 GSL-SE- Turbo charged- K&N

my FPR failed in the closed position such as yours and i got the same situation with no fuel coming out the return line. Thats the only thing it can be. www.Rockauto.com Might be a good time to pull the injectors and have them sent out to be cleaned and flow tested. Need new upper intake manifold gasket too. Check 6-port operation.

do you think it could be the injection pressure dampner or is it the FPR? they look different and it looks like i pulled the pressure dampner off thinking it was the regulator. thanks for the help!

It's the Fuel Pressure Regulator, it has TWO nipples on it it, one for the fuel line, and another for a vacuum line which sits on the cap. The Dampner is on the opposite end of the fuel rail and simply screws into the end to dampen the pulses from the fuel pump. BUT it is prone to leak and cause engine bay fires. Many people remove and throw in a banjo bolt in replacement with no ill effects. Do a search for that part.
