FAQ location- rats nest- desmog
 

I'm new to the Forum and have spent hours looking for carb info and the rats nest removal. Where is the FAQ section that is referenced? I'm stripping a 1983 for autocross and into a stock carb rebuild. Any info on smog removal, jet changes etc. would be appreciated as well as parts sources.

Back when I was modifying my 1980 when it was a few years old- jets, kits, plates for smog pump removal etc. were readily available from Racing Beat and Rotary Engineering. Web searches do not show availability. Plan is stock engine with headers, large nearly open exhaust, no pollution contols and revised jetting for starts until we see how it works.

You only need to make 2 plates if my bad memory serves me correctly.... which are extremely easy.... But if you must buy them I wouldnt know where to look. As for carb mods, its in the FAQ.
