hey guy im sure there some one out there that have install a 93 motor in there 1st gen.how hard is it.my ? can i use my 12A front cover and use my GSL-SE oil pan.im not use the twin turbo on this swap...help thanks:scratch:

i'm no expert but from what i have read, you will need a GSLSE front cover and oil pan... thats the extent of my knowledge. i want to do this swap too but i dont have the balls to deal with the wiring. haha

You're putting an OBD engine into a carbureted chassis, you have to more or less create an all new engine management system (stock FD or aftermarket) and thoroughly rework the fuel system. It's a lot of work, but also a lot of money. I had a 13B-RE I picked up for a song, but it was going to cost several grand to get it running (just in parts, I do my own work) and the car's not worth $500.

Getting the engine mounted in the chassis is the easy part. Making run is where the fun begins.
