Electrical problem?

So I just got the 84 RX7 GS to my house and I took a look at all the lights. Only thing I found wrong was that when I turn the hazards on, only the left sides come on. However, when i put the right blinker on as well as the hazards, all 4 come on. Headlights, tail lights, brake lights, signals, and everything else works so I'm stumped. Any idea?

some sort of switch or wiring issue in my opinion, but personally if all the blinkers and lights work right other than the emergency lights, i would wait and if no other problems presented themselves id just leave it alone....

Yeah thats what i figured. I was just curious if it was something stupid that would be easy to fix

I figure if Im going to be using the hazards anyways I'll be pulling off to the right so Ill have the right signal on anyway lol

ha nice thinking about the to the right! it could be an easy fix, but wiring, and harnesses and such are crazy, the fact that all your bulbs seem to be good tells me its either wiring or the switch. good luck man

i would remove and test the flasher cpu. its located near the fuse block and is black in color, attatched with three 10mm bolts. search for flasher cpu in this forum and you will be able to read a lot about it.
