dynoed my car last night,

well put my car through its paces on the dyno tonight,

first pull was 310rwhp on 9.7psi, rich as hell (10.0) all the way, leaned it out a little and wound some boost in on 11psi it made 350.8rwhp, it is a animal to drive on the street gutter to gutter in any gear!!

would have got more out of it but it was getting warm and i didnt have any more time to do some more tuning, it is still rich through the mids range and just about perfect in the top end,

setup in car,

81 rx7
87 13b turbo motor and box
hybrid t04/t66 turbo
Microtech LTX12,
2x550cc and 4x1200cc injectors,

thats a very smooth graph, nice job tuning!!!

must be a blast to drive!! that turbo comes on boost fast!!

10sec rx7 10-20-03 09:15 PM

thanks dude

it is very very fun to drive! cant wait to get it to the drag strip and give it a work out on 25psi and c16!!

the turbo is a custom job, it has a 1.32 P trim rear with a turbonetics T66 comp wheel in a .70 cover, good for about 550rwhp on 27-28psi,

all these figures are dyno dynamics which are about 15-20% less than the dyno jet,

well let me tell you from personal experience.....you wont be able to use more than 20 psi on the street, or you could die!!! my car goes every wich way but straight on anything higher than 20 psi on the street!!
be carfull:)

10sec rx7 10-20-03 09:58 PM

i dont think i would be able to use 15psi on the street!!

just have to get the car tech inspected and we are right to go racing

no shit, im expecting mine to total out at about 7K.
I have everything I wanted, I spent alot of time just sourcing out prices and deals even if I had to wait on some of it (i.e. took 3 months to get the engine from this fucker) but Its worth it, the car is turning out exactly like I see it in my head.

I spent just under $1k on mine, but I've only got about 225-250 hp :)

I ordered almost all of my turbo setup from Robert, www.rotaryshack.com He gave me a GREAT price on the carb, fuel pump, turbo, and everthing else. The BOV was $50 from www.tyfoonmotorsports.com I know it's a ricer site, but I took a chance with them, and I got lucky. It works perfect, and sounds nice too :) My dad is foreman at a large machine shop, which makes the turbo hat, and all the other custom parts I needed made free :) Also I got all the stainless exhaust pipe at a good price from one of my dad's customers. I did every bit of the work on the car myself, which is really the only way to go when doing a custom turbo setup. Without the machine shop hook-up I have, it probably would add $100-$500.

I think I have all the parts listed in the sig, and when I get around to it I'll put up everything in detail on my cardomain site.

Well, as of right now, nothing, but I have it somewhat planned. Heres a thread I started when I "began" this project "officially". Mind you I have made NO progress on it since then other than working to get money for stuff, but I get payed on Friday, so then Im gonna possibly be buying stuff. Oh, I bought a GSL-SE parts car for $100 thats complete, but it has no compression on the rear rotor. Thats ok though because Im just using the suspension and hatch mainly. Other than that, I havent done much forward progress, but some is better than none!
