Any front spoiler. The lower valance on the FBs are aerodynamic but does not create enough downforce on the front. I had the OEM front spoiler untill it cracked

That looks nice.
In addition to not deflecting much under-car air,I never much liked the factory wedge look of the FB.That airdam looks good, even on an externally stock car.
Stilettoman,I run an SE rearend(its a little wider) with 17X9 wheels and 245/35-17 tires with small spacers.
Theres a little more room back there, might be able to squeeze 265's but when I hit a diagonal angle(like up my driveway), Im already scraping the inner lip of the wheels on my inner fender wall.

putting a wing on your drift car is like putting spinners on your rally car.

I kinda like the 2nd gen spoilers on the 1st gens. Good look and easy to find. I also kinda liked v8kilrs old flat black car with the aluminum spoiler. I dunno why, but it was badass IMO.

It looks great and still has great lines and above all isn't all queer with a huge wing or a body kit that doesn't suit the car. Its what my car will hopefully look like one day.

Just about the only spoiler I would consider is the GTU style or a low lying whale tail, but I prefer no spoiler. Spoilers/Wings seem pointless for drifting anyways.

drift wing is another way of saying ricer shopping cart wing. sadly =(
im all about drift, but those wings are hideous. i was looking in a JDM rx7 mag (yeah i read it backwards) it was about FCs and FDs only. the FCs and FDs with big wings looked like ****, the other ones, GORGEOUS

Will they fit? Are they the right width?

I may have to change my search angle to the FC GTU wing.

I can't find a cheap low profile wing for my 7...

I have a "dealer option" one piece wrap around spoiler, but it's cracked to all hell and missing hardware...

Any pics of v8kilr's car

I hate these fucked up pieces of **** they sell on eBay...

man, that car looks like it's trying to be a 240sx with that two tone paint. I love the "RTRWEEE" license plate, awesome.

Ok- sorry...but- Are you going to actually be going fast enough to gain an advantage from a wing...or are we just going for a "looks"... I mean...from someone who has a racecar...a wing is weight..and weight is bad!

to me it all depends on if it looks good or not... like if the wing is huge or something like that then no... but i dont know... i bought this wing about a week ago and put it on... i think it looks good... small and functional... i like it... and to anyone or everyone... that is enough... if the person that put it on his car and he/she likes it then to bad... lol no ones making you put it on your car so... all you haters just need to suck it up... anyways heres pictures on mine...

IMHO Wings on 1st gens suck the big one.

Unless you're putting 300+ rwhp down and have a serious *need* for the downforce to keep your rear end from getting away on you, wings shouldn't be found on 1st Gens. Ever.

That, of course, is my opinion.

you don't even need a wing for drifting, its just for style unless your going at high speed in a straight line and trying to pick up speed, but you don't need a big wing

In my opinion, that takes away a good part of what makes a RX-7 look like a RX-7. Part of what the car has going for it is the distinctive look. I don't want to take anything away from what anyone has done to their cars - after all, they own 'em - but I like the way they look as-is.

Not while drifting.

Those wings don't work below 120, and certainly not while air is running into the side of them.
