I was looking on the dash of my 1980 above the heater controls and something appears to be missing....I see a place where something can screw in...but it is gone..

Maybe a light fixture of some kind??? Check out the pic...

My goodness, I don't know what goes there, but I love the Old School. Separate AM and FM mechanical buttons. Totally cool.

You're missing a plastic trim piece. It's a flat plastic plate that holds the top of the center dash piece, and prevents it from popping out.

I have been listening to the 70-80's station for two days now on that old radio....sounds tinny, stereo fades in and out....no bass...no treble....no satellite...no mp-3....no CD......couldn't be MORE perfect!!!

I just took a picture to show you what it looks like. It's easier than trying to explain it. Did the paint shop lose the knobs that go on the heater controls too, and your a/c button?
