Unhappy Choke issue?

I have a 81 with the 12A, and it runs really well most of the time. For about 60-120 seconds after the choke pops in and the car thinks it is warmed up, it stalls when I come to a stop. After that amount of time, it is fine. What is up?

Cheers

After the choke pops in, the car stalls when I let it idle. I think it is popping in too early. Can I adjust this? Is it an idle issue?

Once the car is warmed up fully, it doesn't stall anymore.

Where is the temp needle when it pops back in? It should idle when it does pop in, if it doesn't you may need to adjust the carb accordingly

The quarter treatment = wedging a quarter behind the choke **** to keep it held out... personally I prefer a nickle.

Mine does the same thing. Just learned to keep foot on gas and ues hand brake to stop. After warmed up runs like a banshee.
