But that wouldn't solve the issue of spinal cord compression, would it?

They still wouldn't be very horizontal if you did it that way vs. mounting them on the "skinny bar"

This was my concern when reading this thread. I am not sure what everyones intentions are but if you are reaaally trying to be safe in lets say an on track situation you will not want to skimp on anything.

somebody got a link that is pretty clean and pretty sick...The cage is bolt in though huh? Hmmm not my cup of tea, but i guess one could weld the cage if he/she wanted to i assume right?
