Anyone upgrade their front Struts and Brakes to Mustang Brakes/Struts/Coilovers?*PICS
79-93 4 cyl Mustang Struts with $139 Coilover Conversion Kit, Brakes and Spindles. Use a 8 cyl if you want large brakes. If you want floating rotors, use 94 and up.
Machine a plate to weld on the stang spindle so you can use the factory ball joint and steering. http://i30.tinypic.com/wc1q8w.jpg http://i29.tinypic.com/95x02g.jpg http://i27.tinypic.com/2ezqwyp.jpg http://i31.tinypic.com/2utmhde.jpg http://i29.tinypic.com/2hy9svk.jpg http://i32.tinypic.com/eulcpl.jpg |
Just curious as to how it will work with such a angle on the strut? Especially in reverse?

interesting. ive seen datsun Z conversions, its kind of pointless now, REspeed makes a big brake kit for the stock struts, but the z was decent brake and 5 lug in the early 80's

Is that a mustang rack and pinion also?
This may be ok for the strip but front end geometry is a must to have a safe street car. :-) |
