ANyone out there i need a lil choke help

I just took my whole frigin dash apart and found out what was wrong with my choke. The frigin wire broke inside the lil electrical box. So i tried to detach the cable clamp inside the box and the 19yr old screws decided to seperate themselves from the head :(. So im thinkin it is no good anymore. Any suggestions other than mazda direct. I bet they will want an arm and a leg for the f*#@!n thing..... HELP PLS

i didnt know you had to remove the dash to get at it?

i know its not helpful but basically thats teh cost,

you can spend it in money or time to get the part you need :)

Got pics? Is there enough screw left to get a dremel in there and cut a slot in it to get a flathead screwdriver to turn it? Is there enough room to drill the screw out?

Try Sears, the Craftsman screw-out set is gettnig decent reviews, but then again, if you cant get a drill in there you may not be able to get these in there.

I assume you are talking about the screws that hold the cover onto the Choke Magnet assembly?

Same issue w/ my 83... I used Red Green's favorite fix... DUCT TAPE!
