Any word on these door seals?

Any one use or hear about these seals? They're $60 for the pair on amazon. Is it worth a shot?

They did not my car. Right shape for door and pins in right spots, but way too wide and too thick. No way the door would close. So, I ordered OEM from a Mazda dealer which is what I should have done in the begining. Spend more, but save the headaches and delay.

This thread seemed to be the definitive end all be all for 1st gen door seal info.

I think the consensus was that if it wasn't OEM, it was a metro seal.
I ordered mine from Black Dragon; pins were fine, but they were super thick and I had to slam the door pretty hard to get her to close.

I just picked some up from rock auto that are the same deal. Yes they are huge, but they seem to fit properly.

I would imagine it could be tough installing them if you aren't particularly innovative. I used a quarter (¢25 piece) to make sure the groves snapped into their notches. The quarter isn't abrasive enough to damage the seals, but grips them nicely and is the right thickness. It is harder closing the door to some extent, but I imagine being the foam material they are, they will gradually mold to the door frame. Plus it almost feels like slamming a brand new car door! Great feeling!!

Can't imagine the OEM ones would be a bad choice either. Good luck. :)
