A little update here since I have been busy at work and shipping Ebay stuff. A few days off and I am getting closer to finish.
Removal of the pilot bearing. It takes a few seconds to do the job with the REAL MAZDA pilot bearing removal tool. Best thing I ever bought besides my Racing Beat flywheel stopper/nut removal tools. http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/5/12318325165.jpg Removed pilot bearing and seal. Damn, the freaking thing didn't have the needle bearing in it. http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/5/12317003422.jpg New clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing. http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/5/12317003464.jpg http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/5/12317003415.jpg New pilot bearing and seal. http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/5/12317003444.jpg New clutch installed http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/5/12317003414.jpg Engine and tranny bolted together. http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/5/12317003448.jpg New starter http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/5/12317003536.jpg Engine and tranny bolted in the car http://img2.putfile.com/thumb/5/12317003584.jpg I am getting closer..........Next is Racing Beat Exhaust, plugging everything up, bleed the brakes...... |

Great work, are you finish with it yet?
|
Car was eventually sold to a forum member here, fixed, got wrecked, sold again to another person and wrecked again. I guess the engine was too strong for them.
As far as the welds, it was done with a mig welder. |
