5 speed swap, point of no return.. I NEED SOME HELP ASAP!!!!!
ok, ive got the drive shaft out the tranny/engine is lowered the tranny wont go down very far because the steering linkage is in the way.. i think im gonna have to take it out...
should i have unbolted the tranny before lowering it?.. i didnt, but i could easily jack it back up and undo all the bolts.. so far i only have one bolt off the tranny.. its very tight spaces under there.. also what hoses generally need to be disconnected when lowering the engine down? and... wil i be able to pull the auto tranny out by myself?.. i know i can do a 5 speed... i just dont know how much heavier the autos are than the 5 speeds. thanks -greg |
forget this post... the slushbox is out... gotta wait till the morning to take the flexplate off... dont wanna wake the neighbors up with the impact gun at 1 am..
