2nd gen direct fire??? trailing??
 

Yea i know search i did but i have a question. ok i got what to do to the leading where you cut all the wires and all that stuff but then it said hook the trailing wires into the leading spot on the dizzy? woiuld'nt that misfire and is'nt the trailing more powerful or something likt that?

No it wont cause any problems. What your doing with that is eliminating a gap for the spark to jump. Normally the trailing jumps 2 gaps in the dizzy. Your just eliminating one. The timing and firing is still the same cuase its controlled by the igniter and mag p/u in the dizzy. It's not necessary to do that, but optional.

Exactly. It's not a propblem to leave trailing 100% stock if you really want to. It's just better electrically to move the wires to the better part of the cap if you have the option.

where is ur thinking from, pistons dont work in rotor housing TRY IT
 

On the rx we use a trailing ignitor for emissions to lower the h2 & no2. In the piston engine though some r for emissions or a little power but for the most part it helps bump the piston up through the compression cycle via the camshaft and opposite piston increasing horsepower. Thats why in the Miller-cyle in therory is so smart+(lower the compressions cycles parasitic horsepower loss to get back up)

So in ur rx, make it with no trailing plug. Just make sure you have a strong leading spark(u might be running dirtier but retard the timing 3-6 degrees ) and now ur running on 2 spark plugs and saving weight on the extra coil as well as with less ability for spark jump (cluttered wires and hoses and ignitors side-by-side cross firing), You can notice some horsepower gain but the spark off the distrubutor needs to be disipated some where or youll have spark scatter inside the dizzy. The question is where? to the postive terminal of the battery or the exhaust. In the exhaust you could connect in-line where an O2 sensor would go (before the cat). Hotter down pipe temps would increase the ability of the cat to light off (only needing one cat) and the exhaust to be a higher vacuum enviroment.undefined

what does it mean by cut off the electrical connector for the stock wiring? 2nd step?

I think it means that the stock connector on the stock wiring harness won't quite fit the 2nd gen coil or something. I don't have a 1st gen.

Ok so if I hook up the trailing to the leading then how do they get they're power i just then disconnected it? Do i have to hook the trailing coil to the leading middle spot on the distributer?

Ok so where does the neg side go? and what do i hook the black wire too?

ok i finally said screw it and hooked up up how i wanted. DANGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!! it is soo much smoother i floored it in first spun shifted to second redline spin shift to 3rd chirp. It feels like a new motor does'nt even hesitate anymore and is as smooth as ever. man this is beautiful.
