13b

Hey guys,
I think I'm going to sell my 12a 1st gen and buying one with a 13b in it (will have to have been modded as I'm in oz, no gsl-se!).

I was wondering what sort of 0-100 kph and 1/4 mile time would you expect from a 1st gen with a 13b with a full exaust system and a street port?

Thanks guys!

depends on a lot of other factors. why not swap your 12a out instead of buying a full new car?

YEAH, my 1st gen has a 13b in it and is mad fun, why get a whole new car???????????

besides that some (not all ) 2nd gen had mad problems with wiring and sub-stanard solder that caused even more problems. Although this is only true with some of the earlier 2nd gens i still wouldn't buy a 2nd gen for that reason.

:withstupi:

also, i agree with the 13b, but seriously, do it yourself.. then you can have the pride in it. and when/if something goes wrong, you have a good idea where the problem is

browney 01-28-03 04:47 PM

Nah, I want I new car because mine is cheap and not in the best nick. I wan't a perfect one with a 13b in it that I can mod up. 12a turbos are still hard to find in aus!

Does anyone know the answer to my question though?

"I was wondering what sort of 0-100 kph and 1/4 mile time would you expect from a 1st gen with a 13b with a full exaust system and a street port?"

anyone?

Maybe around 14 seconds @100 MPH.. given you have everything else set up properly: correct and tuned carb, a grippy clutch, lightened vehicle AND traction! Just an estimate.

Got 20k? Buy mine :D

browney 01-30-03 04:18 PM

ummmmmmm.........................,
no. Uni Student!
but the thought of doing a low 10 1/4 is very nice!
What mods have you got AJC13B?

RotorMotorDriver 01-30-03 04:22 PM

Hell, Id buy yours if I had 20K. Ive seen 3rd gens for more than that. Id love to have a 1st gen that could hand it to 3rd gen on the track :).
