12A into a GSL-SE
I just bought a really good SE without a motor and I have a good running 12A carb, I really need a car on the road so I'm putting the 12A into the SE for now.
Am I going to run into any problems? Will the fuel pump have too much pressure for the carb? Thanks for any suggestions. |
most definitely!! the fuel pressure is about 10X to much. you will need a pump(i'm running a holley red) and a regulator (also running a holley). you might need some other things, but i can't think right now. lunch break over- gotta go back to work

you'll need an engine mount...

An engine mount??? Are you sure???

Oh yeah I still have the car that the 12A came out of so where is the fuel pump? Is it in tank, or is out near the rear axle?
|
yea, the 12a is shorter. You can prob custom make a spacer if you want.

Originally posted by jeremy you'll see a plate behind the driver underneath the car. the fuel filter is on the back of it and the pump mounted on it between the underbody of the car. |
