i have two sets in maroon, one thin set from 85 in maroon, and a set of thick grey mats matching the two thick maroon mats that i have. i will pull the floor mats out of boneyard cars and buy them. i also will pull owners manuals as well. can never have too many of those!!

You ever want to get rid of one of the thick maroon sets, I'd love to store a set for my GSLSE ;)

I do, but the driver's side has a nice wear mark in it where my right foot sits.

How about a set of Front and Rear Chrome SA bumpers !!!

I have completed these beauties with all new bumper shocks and all bumper rubbers . These are sweet , and I may put them on once in awhile in exchange for the painted ones. It is a seventies car, so that makes a little chrome OK :icon_tup:

Heres another pic of them with the rubber on them . Even if they never go on the car they look great in the basement . I got caught by the GF this winter turning the dimmer light swith on and off with them on the table just to see that shine

anyway heres the story . I always thought it might be kinda of interesting to have chrome bumpers for the '79 , just to put on once in while. I know 99% of the RX7 club will hate the idea , but fuuk all of you :), Its a 79 , so its OK .. SO , one day two years ago I couldn't believe it but I saw on Ebay "Chrome Bumper for RX7" . It was a bumper place in Pennsylvania selling it for a buy it now price of $100. I bought it ( the front one) not ever really expecting to find a rear one . I started buying the rubber parts for it and got interested in getting a rear one . There is a place in Winnipeg that specializes in chroming bumpers and so I found an old 80 rear and gave it to them to do . $150 and holy fuuk , What a fantastic job they did . It is amazing to see in person. So anyway , got the rest of the shocks and rubbers so I could do a full bumper swap when ever I want to .

I have a functioning stock TR exhaust. In California in particular, that's getting damn rare!

My dad used to have a US import first gen with turbo kit, it also had a big fueltank where the rear seats normally are.. too bad it only ran well wenn cold (he said) and the parted it :/

also had the chance to buy a factory group B for peanuts that time, didnt do it.. damn

lloyd12a 05-29-13 05:48 AM

Yep, sure is. Are you interested in selling me the bracket hanging off the side near the gear lever, by chance

Rub20B 05-29-13 06:06 AM

Sure, the bracket I do not see much use for it, but is the clutch fork any different than a normal sa one? I got this box when I bought the RX3 as a spare (it has now a ford box). if I see the fork I might not be able to use the box anymore..?

Great, got at dollar value in mind? Just PM me. Plus are you located in Aus? Do you have any other bits?

As for the clutch fork, it same configuration as the standard rx7 SA22C, but stronger.

Rub20B 05-29-13 09:42 AM
