Those look awesome. These are the way to go if you stay 4x110.... cheaper then meshies and brand new!

I'll get some better pictures soon, the car is pretty rough so I don't like to show it off too much.

Any more pics yet? You have the 0 offset, which is actually a 4.5" backspace right? (according to the chart on diamond racing wheels website)

MountainScreamer 10-11-11 04:16 PM

Yeah I have the 4.5 in backspace. Weather has been bad here so I haven't gotten any pictures.
This weekend at the latest though, I promise:D

for as much as an RX7 breaks and needs fixing or oil changes I would never have mine so low, right now I can barely get the floor jack under mine.

roof racks are a dead give away about how ghey the owner is unless your using them to haul tires to a autox/drift event

I like the look, but I wouldn't want it for myself. I'm patiently waiting for Mountainscreamer's pics too. That's the setup I'm considering going with.

Alright guys, I still haven't gotten around to taking some pictures, but I found some that might be good enough.

Right now I rub going over big bumps but I think that stiffer springs will eliminate that.
It sits pretty high right now but if I go any lower I'm afraid that my tires will get eaten.
I don't really want to sacrifice tire size so I might go with some zg flares when I get the money.
Either way, it still functions without sacrificing a whole lot, if you can stand the height.

craaaazzy 10-13-11 04:13 PM

^^^ i like the height there, that's plenty low for me. i think my car sits up just a bit higher since it's pretty much stripped (w/ RB springs).

Mountainscreamer...I like it! I might just try 195/45 with the same sized wheels and see how that works. Thanks for the pics :)

Kind of a lame question, but can somebody explain to me the inherit suspension problems the FB runs into while going extremely low? I've heard some members talking about it but I'm not sure what exactly they meant or how to do anything to avoid it.

Thanks.

If you get so low that you are running into serious binding problems, then I think that's just too low. Suspensions are on cars for a reason.

Also, I don't have camber plates yet, so you could get a little more tire under if necessary.
There is no interior either, so with me and 1/2 a tank of gas it weighs right at 2300lb.
